Lucia, a Senior Manager at Experior, has reached another important career milestone.
Originally from the Philippines, Lucia moved to Canada in 2011 in search of a better life and financial opportunities to support herself and her son. Before joining Experior Financial Group, she worked as a full-time nanny for a modest family, who became her sponsors in helping her move to Canada. Lucia came to Canada wanting to give her family a better future. She made the biggest sacrifice a mother can make—leaving her son behind in the Philippines so she could get settled in Canada first before she could bring him to live with her. After spending 6 years away from her son, Lucia is now able to provide the kind of security and life she always dreamed of.
Lucia is a great Senior Manager and mother who’s drive to achieve success has led her to accomplish much at Experior.
Questions Experior Financial Group asked Lucia Medina:
The Experior Marketing Team asked how Lucia feels to have reached this milestone, she said,
“I am feeling very grateful on one end and on the other I still feel this is surreal! I can’t believe that I have reached this milestone. I felt this milestone would be years ahead of me but now I can say that everything is possible if you put your heart, mind and hard work into your endeavours. There are no shortcuts when you want to achieve something that is meaningful!”
We asked Lucia Why Experior? Our newest Ring Earner said,
“I choose Experior, because it offers an extremely fair compensation structure considering we can build an agency. Secondly, is the support, there is strong training, access to all the tools that you need to run your business and to hone your skills. Third, there is a wide range of products and partnerships with the largest companies. My fourth reason is because of the positive and friendly environment in our company and especially our Montreal office! We support and help each other as a family. Everyone can strive for greatness, but with the help of like minded and positive people the journey is that much sweeter!”
When we asked Lucia what advice she had for new Associates in the industry, she said,
“My advise to you all is that is anyone can work hard when they feel motivated, when it is convenient, but it is the ability to keep going when work isn’t easy, when work isn’t exciting or even challenging. This is what breeds the best achievers in life: the ability to get through the hard, nasty and unpleasant experiences! Believe in yourself, plug into a positive environment, focus on your WHY and taking action…. No shortcuts – All Hard Work!”
