Experior Financial Group is thrilled to honour Senior National Executive Directors Darren and Stephanie Golka for earning the prestigious title of Green Ring Earner. Their passion and unwavering support for their clients have made them stand out in the financial services industry.

Darren and Stephanie are currently living in Edmonton, Alberta but they would love to retire somewhere hot. They have been happily married for 12 years now and are looking forward to starting a family so that their legacy can carry on. They have a 3 year old fur baby who is known as their guard dog at the office. Before joining the financial services industry, they were franchise owners, and now with Experior, they have helped countless families make informed financial decisions. Congratulations to Darren and Stephanie on all they have accomplished so far! We are confident that they will continue to achieve even greater success.

We asked Darren and Stephanie how it feels to have achieved this milestone, and they said,

“It’s an amazing feeling to set goals and then achieve them. Many people set goals and get frustrated when they don’t achieve them. But we have found over the years that consistent persistent effort, growing and supporting people right helps to grow your business, and the bigger you grow in any business generally, the more income you can generate and achieve.

We are very honoured to be leaders of a great group of leaders in team R.E.O.S., and this was a complete team effort, as this is pretty much completely residual income. Many businesses talk about residual income, but very few deliver like our industry!

At this point, it’s truly about helping the team succeed more, and we are also rewarded, so it’s such a win/win philosophy!”

“We started with Experior in June of 2018. We didn’t choose Experior because of the Rings, Trips, Legacy Ownership, Bonuses, USA expansion etc. because those incentives did not exist when we started. We joined Experior because of the trust we had in Jamie and Lee-Ann, and their unique view of the industry and how they planned to break the old mold of low compensation to the agents that we see in every legacy company today. The days of paying agents, 25 to 30% compensation at beginner levels is over. This is like paying people 1980s wages today.

We believe in Jamie’s vision to change the industry and pay agents a great compensation along the way while they’re building their organizations and residual income. Too many companies put all the compensation at the very top, and everybody else who does most of the sales suffers. Winning at the top is great, but we don’t like seeing so many people struggling and not making money and having to go back to getting a job or having to re-finance/sell their house to stay in business. Living a nightmare while being sold a dream was not our idea of a real business!

Experier completely broke the mold from the old industry and is now setting the pace and is the gold standard today!”

How has your life changed because of your success with Experior? Darren and Stephanie replied,

“Our life have completely changed, in many ways. This means we can help more, do more and change more lives. Earning income for yourself and your career job is one thing, but to help others create success in their life changes you more than anything you’ll ever get personally.

This business requires hard work and dedication, and although you want to see everyone win, sometimes people don’t realize that to change your life, you have to change your ways. To have more in life, you generally have to do more. To succeed more in life, you generally have to work harder and change old habits that do not serve you towards success.

This is sometimes hard for people to understand when they see successful people. They sometimes think “oh, they got there just because of luck or for other reasons”, but in reality, there’s a lot of work behind the scenes. It’s not the work that people see you do, it’s the work that you do when no one’s watching. That makes the difference!

We are beyond blessed because of Experior, Team R.E.O.S and the leadership at Experior. Achieving this milestone isn’t a Darren and Stephanie achievement, it’s a team effort.”

We asked Darren and Stephanie what their current goals were, and they responded,

“As you grow in this business, initially, your goals are to get yourself and your business to an income level and promotion level that excites you and motivates you. However, as you build a larger business and organization, your goals now become about your people, helping them achieve their goals, their titles and their income levels.

This is hugely motivating to us to see others achieving their goals and dreams, and it’s a higher level of leadership by being able to serve others and teach them what you’ve learned along your journey of achieving the successes you’ve achieved. The greatest joy for any leader at a higher level is to see others winning and changing their lives and changing their family name forever by creating an income plan that can serve them far beyond their lifetime.

Darren and Stephanie were asked if they had any advice for new associates in the financial services industry, and they said,

“Never give up on your goals and dreams, no matter how hard it appears or when you feel like you’re completely in the dark. That’s the time when the light at the end of a tunnel is easiest to see.

In life, it’s sometimes too easy to give up on your goals, dreams, marriage, business etc., but remember there is no failure without success because failure is preparing you on the road to success. There’s never been a successful business athlete professional that didn’t fail first before they achieved some level of success. The key is, how fast you get up after you fall.

People think that success is some magical kind of unicorn thing, which it is not. It comes with dedication, persistence, commitment and the attitude of gratitude towards a better future. Remember, you don’t have to be great to start, but you have to start to become great! Never judge a book by it’s cover as we have never walked in their shoes. If someone judged us 20 years ago, we wouldn’t have been blessed and been able to bless others in so many ways.”
