We have been watching with the rest of the world regarding the COVID 19 situation and believe that it is wise to mitigate the risk to our head office staff and their loved ones. With that said we have decided to have as many as possible work from home.
We made the decision Friday and have informed the staff. Please note Monday will be a transition day for them.
We are asking you to not visit the head office and use email and phone as a way to communicate with the head office staff until things have subsided.
As the global situation with COVID-19 continues to evolve, we wanted to reach out to you today to encourage you to take safety precautions when holding any team meetings. Consider other options for training such asZOOM, cell phone, Skype, and as well as WhatsApp video call allows you to chat with several people at the same time. It is amazing the tools we have now to help us in times like this.
We ask that you do not act in fearbut with wisdomduring this time.
Many Executive Directors have decided to start this method of training’s during this time. Oh what a joy it will be when we can again meet together in person, until then lets not take unnecessary risks. If even one of us got the virus and could not recover, it would be too many.
Personally we have chosen to use this time for matters such as putting things into place that we have not had the time to do until now. It can also be a wonderful time for family, research and learning about products and getting CE credits done. Also, setting new goals and thinking of strategies and putting a marketing plan in place. We will be limiting ourselves to certain phone calls and meetings as we were to be in Jamaica for the week before the trip was cancelled. We are still using this time as a staycation of sorts.
Keep your eyes peeled over the next week or so as we have some exciting tools and new things coming out to help you and your team during this time.
We will keep you informed of any developments as they come in. We apologize for any inconvenience and hope that business will return to normal shortly.
The health and safety of our agents, staff and clients continue to be our highest priority.
