Sumal has been a dedicated part of Experior Financial Group for 1 year and 5 months. In that time, he and his team, Dream Builders, have empowered 160 families to make informed financial decisions. We proudly recognize Sumal’s exceptional accomplishments and extend our heartfelt congratulations. With his unwavering determination and commitment, we’re confident that even greater success lies ahead on his Experior journey.
We asked Sumal Sathyan to tell us a bit about his journey and how it feels to have achieved this milestone, and he said,
“My journey with Experior began a year and a half ago when I started as a Financial Associate. Coming from a finance background, I hold a B.Com and an MBA in Finance. I moved to Canada from India in 2019, and after graduating here, I have always aspired to work in the financial sector. That dream led me into the industry in 2023.
However, my initial six months were challenging. I found myself in the wrong environment, facing poor leadership and unethical client practices. I was on the verge of leaving the industry altogether when I discovered Experior. This company has truly transformed my life. Everything I’ve learned and achieved so far is because of Experior’s support and values.
I’ve received incredible guidance from my team and Experior’s leadership, which has boosted my confidence and enhanced my skill set. The journey has been deeply fulfilling. One major realization I’ve had since joining Experior is my ability to offer holistic financial planning solutions to clients. This has allowed me to build a strong and growing client base.
In addition to serving clients, I’ve also had the opportunity to mentor and support over 40 agents in growing their own businesses within the financial industry. Thanks to Experior’s outstanding platform, these agents are thriving, and knowing they’re satisfied brings me great joy.
I want to express my heartfelt thanks to Jamie and Lee-Ann Prickett for their positive impact on so many lives. I also appreciate Experior’s leadership for upholding integrity and prioritizing people over profit. I now feel more committed than ever and am determined to continue making a meaningful difference in the lives of everyone we work with.”
Our newest Executive Director was asked if he had any advice or words of encouragement for new financial service Associates with Experior. Sumal said,
“For anyone just starting with Experior, the first thing I want to say is—you’re truly fortunate to be part of the best company in the industry right now. Take time to learn about the company, immerse yourself in as much training as possible, and focus on building a strong foundation.
Have a clear vision for your future in this industry and within the company. Break that vision down into smaller, achievable goals and create a solid plan to achieve them. Everything begins with trust—trust in yourself, trust in the system, and trust in the company.
Take it one step at a time. Don’t stress about immediate results. Trust the process, keep moving forward, and embrace every lesson along the way. If you do that, success will follow.”
