Congratulations to Maia Kalev, our newest and youngest Ring Earner promoted in October 2023!
Maia Kalev, Executive Director at Experior Financial Group, proudly calls Toronto, Ontario, her home and shares it with her two beloved dogs. Before achieving her remarkable success at Experior, Maia explored various career avenues, including bartending, sales, and catering. Her exceptional leadership qualities and unwavering motivation position her as a central figure for aspiring financial agents.
Maia has established numerous goals to pave her way towards continued success. Having experienced the loss of her father early in life, she understands the profound impact of financial insecurity and the feeling of having nothing. Her determination is fueled by the desire to prevent others from enduring the same hardships she once faced. Experior eagerly anticipates Maia’s team expansion and is excited to witness her guide her team to the same levels of success she herself is achieving.
We asked Maia how it feels to have achieved this milestone, and she said,
“This is a milestone I’ve wanted since my first day in the industry. One I was told by my manager at my previous firm that I didn’t have what it takes to achieve, and a goal my Executive Director, Mario Francella has believed and supported in me accomplishing since day one. Given the challenges that had to be overcome to get here, I’m incredibly proud of myself and the team for reaching where we are now. I’ve had a picture of this ring as the lock screen on my phone all year, so the best way to sum up this feeling is excitedly yelling “I did it!!!” And now, it’s “what’s next“

Maia was asked how her life has changed since being with Experior, and she said,

More than just providing a level of financial and time freedom I once thought I’d only dream of. Experior’s changed me into a version of myself I’ve always wanted to be. Experior has truly become a second family of people I can’t imagine living without, and every day I strive to be a little bit better and prove myself and everyone here who believes in me right.”
When we asked Maia if she had any advice for any new agents looking to succeed with Experior, she said,
“People often ask me what my secret is for succeeding at my age, and the honest answer? I just did the work. As soon as you believe you can do this, and you believe that simple hard work, consistency, and following the system will get you to where you want to be, you start to work like you can’t fail. And when you work like the only possible outcome is success, it’s just a matter of time until you’re proven right.“
